The best area for shopping in Riga is the Old Town, and it is there that you can find the main street Audeju where there are plenty of small boutiques and department stores. Outside the city itself, and easily accessible by public transport, there are an ever increasing number of American style strip malls, where you can pick up some real bargains in the designer outlet stores.
