Perhaps as close to paradise as you can get in the USA in terms of its fantastic weather and gorgeous setting in Southern California, San Diego, with its stretches of golden sand beaches and pleasant architecture is a great place to visit for a holiday.
Less busy, and polluted than its neighbour to the north, Los Angeles, San Diego offers an enticing mix of sun sea and sand, combined with plenty to see and do within a short drive of the resort areas, including great shopping, and a laid back nightlife.
