Aside from its sporting reputation gained as the host of the 1984 Summer Olympic Games, Los Angeles is home to several major American sports teams: The Los Angeles Galaxy play in the MLS; The Los Angeles Dodgers, and their rivals the Anaheim Angels represent the city in baseball; The Los Angeles Clippers and Los Angeles Lakers play basketball in the NBA; and the Los Angeles Kings, and Anaheim Wild Ducks play Ice Hockey in the NHL.
