You can travel to Mexico City year round, as the high altitude of the city gives it a very temperate climate that is completely different to the heat and humidity along the coastal plains. If you are visiting Mexico as part of a twin centre with a resort on the coast such as Cancun, then the period from October through to May is the best time to visit, as the temperature is more pleasant, and the humidity lower. Peak season is usually over Easter, and the School holidays tend to mean rising prices as the demand increases.
