Tottenham Court Road is the place to go for discount electronics, and the import shops there will have goods on sale through grey import channels months before the rest of the country.
Portobello Road has a famous street market in Notting Hill, but for the latest clubbing wear, retro clothes, and kitsch, head to Camden Market to the north of the city, where you can get your hands on anything, from Second World War American bomber jackets through to rare vinyl records.
