An hour south from London on the train takes travellers to the Victorian seaside resort of Brighton, where you can enjoy the nightlife and bohemian markets, as well as strolling along the seafront to soak up the sun in summer, and brave the high winds in winter.
Windsor Castle (the largest inhabited castle in the world) is less than an hour west of the city, close to Heathrow Airport, and has huge collections of art to explore, and the town of Windsor has many antique shops and an olde worlde amosphere to enjoy.
