The forthcoming winter season, commencing on 28 October will see Etihad offering 21 percent more flights than they have been doing in a bid to win more business.
The airline will go from 564 flights per week to 716, a number of which will be to enhance their existing route timings, creating more and better options for travellers. Flights to Bahrain for example are being doubled, from 14 flights per week to 28. The number of flights to Muscat also changes enormously, going to 21 per week from just 7 previously.
Other key areas include the European market, with flights between Heathrow and Abu Dhabi as an example going up by 5, to 19 a week; the Indian subcontinent receiving a number of daily flights now and also, as already identified, the home market of the Middle East.
