BMI Flights To Go From The Midlands To Madrid

Commencing in December 2007 BMI, under their low cost brand bmibaby, will begin offering flights to Madrid from Birmingham Airport, making them the only operator to provide flights to the city from the Midlands.

The airline are adding seven other destinations to their schedule from Birmingham, but Madrid is the most important since it is a unique offering in the area. The flights will operate four times per week, on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. There is a strong demand already for those seeking a weekend break in what is a wonderfully exciting and vibrant city, plus the many business travellers who will utilise the service to further enhance the economic relationship between these two areas.

The carrier now provides services to twenty-two different cities across Europe from Birmingham and are anticipating strong demand over the winter period to all of them, whether it is to escape to the sunshine, enjoy the delights of a new city or as a business trip.
