The in flight meals of most airlines have long been the subject of jokes and derision, but for UK operator BMI, not any longer.
The airline has taken a close look at their long haul flights, where they are probably best known for their direct flights to Las Vegas from Manchester, and produced a brand new menu to better suit travellers needs.
All passengers will be able to enjoy this new menu straight away, including dishes ranging from the traditional British Sunday lunch of roast beef and Yorkshire pudding through to more continental style foods such as pasta and sun-dried tomatoes. As well as the improved quality of food it is the variety that really makes a difference, with so many different options available, and the menu changing from outbound to return flight so that travellers aren’t faced with the same dishes. Small details but valuable ones.
For those travelling in Premium Economy there is the addition of complimentary wine whilst Business Class are treated to their very own chef, with the fantastic meals created being served on fine china.
BMI see this as an ongoing development and are looking for feedback from travellers in order to best cater for their needs, making changes where required with the objective of delivering outstanding passenger satisfaction.
