The building that most dominates the city of Casablanca, both physically and spiritually is the enormous Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest places of worship in the world, and a beautifully designed and realised building in its own right.
The Hassan II Mosque is sadly not opened to non-Moslems, but you can wander around the outside and appreciate the architecture if not the interior.
