In Malaysia, the biggest sporting event of the year is undoubtedly the annual Malaysian Grand Prix held at the Sepang Race Track just outside Kuala Lumpur. Usually held in March, the Formula One race attracts hundreds of thousands of fans all of them hoping that one-day someone might manage to overtake someone else. If you want to include a visit to the Grand Prix as part of a holiday in Malaysia, its worth noting that hotels in the city need to be booked almost a year in advance because they fill up very quickly once the date of the race has been announced
