Toronto Shopping in Toronto Shops
An extensive guide to Shopping in Toronto! A 'must read' for the tourist who wishes to find out about everything concerning a Toronto Shopping trip. Find out where the best designer shops in Toronto are with many hints and tips...
Although there are not so many malls in Toronto as you might find in cities across the border in the USA, the Eaton Centre is a match for any that you might have seen. A vast complex in the city centre, it has dozens of shops offering a vast selection of purchases, and offers good value for money.
The other main shopping area is along Yonge Street, which runs right from the Waterfront through to the northern reaches of the city. Aside from small boutique stores, this is where you will find Holt Renfrew; Toronto's premier department store, and the city's equivalent of Harrods.
Kensington Market takes up a collection of back streets close to Chinatown, and among the food stalls, you will find places to buy traditional art, and Inuit crafts, as well as unique clothes by local designers.
