Second largest of the Balearic Islands, Menorca is an oasis of peace and tranquility in the centre of the Mediterranean. Unlike its near neighbours, Menorca does not rely entirely on tourism in order to fund its economy, instead, traditional stock farming and local crafts - such as intricate leatherwork remain the most important industries.
