To the north of Dhaka, the enormous expanse of the Bhawal National Park gives visitors the opportunity to visit the jungles and see a wide variety of wildlife including occasional tigers, grrr.
The park is around 300KM north of the city, and you need to use a ferry to get up river to see it, and then take one of the local bus services to the gate, from where a number of small companies will guide you in the actual park.
