German carrier Lufthansa is to make a major investment in over forty new aircraft, primarily for use on their European network of flights.
The carrier will be buying from Airbus, the majority being the A320 along with a number of A330 long range aircraft. The A320’s, of which there will be thirty, are the ones that will work within Europe, enabling Lufthansa to offer up to date services to passengers and improved efficiency for the company.
The airline is already one of the leading European carriers, catering for the needs of passengers at all levels and to all the main cities, with flights to Munich, Paris, Brussels and Barcelona some of their most popular ones.
Following on from the work on their European fleet Lufthansa will then address their medium to long haul services, again using Airbus aircraft, creating a cleaner, more efficient and ultimately more cost effective operation.Author: airlinenews@googlemail.com
