Published: 12/09/07
Frankfurt, main hub airport of Lufthansa will be offering three flights to Bordeaux per day from the end of October, the schedule planned to remain as it is for the whole of the year assuming demand is as predicted.
Bordeaux is one of the finest wine-producing regions in France and as such is always a popular destination for both business and leisure travellers. The three flights per day planned by Lufthansa reflects this level of interest and is sure to prove popular, offering both greater capacity in sheer passenger numbers but also increased flexibility for those wishing to best utilise their time.
Lufthansa are one of the biggest providers of flights to France from within Europe, the physical proximity of the two countries clearly helping this situation but it also indicates a social and economic connectivity that ties the two together very closely.
