Head for the Sun With Lufthansa

Lufthansa, the German flight operator, is to offer an escape to the sunnier climes of Florida towards the end of this year, offering flights to Orlando on the new winter timetable.

The new service will fly direct from Frankfurt and, from the start date of 30 October, will operate five times per week all year round. The airline are also offering a three class service – Economy, Business and First Class – which will be a first for the route. Lufthansa feel that Orlando, as well as being a popular tourist destination, is also an area of strong economic growth, and as such it is important to offer this service to create good links to the German economy.

The airline are very confident in the service being successful and, by adding this to their current portfolio of transatlantic routes, they are one of the largest providers of flights to the USA from Europe.
