Air Canada Enjoys Record Breaking January

Air Canada, the largest Canadian Airline has had its best ever January, with load factors rising to 78.6 percent - almost 1 percent up on their previous best.. The record figures, which denote the number of seats sold as compared with the total number of seats on sale show a healthy growth in the Canadian travel market.

The increase in the load factor of Air Canada was made even more impressive by virtue of the fact that the carrier has added several new routes and is employing larger aircraft to many destinations.

The biggest growth area for Air Canada was on flights between the USA and Canada, while international flights such as flights to Toronto from London Heathrow also enjoyed increased popularity thanks to lower fares
