A great day out for anyone, but qualified divers in particular is the fabulous AQWA (the Aquarium of Western Australia) which features plenty of colourful local fish and sharks that you can see as you walk along a 98 metre long tunnel underwater, or feed in the special encounter tank. The best bit, if you've learned how to dive, is the chance to don a wetsuit, and get in the main tank in order to swim with the fish. Magical.
