There are no shortages of options for things to do in Hong Kong, most of the best clubs and bars are on the island, especially in Wan Chai. Because most drinks are imported, they can be quite expensive. Ask for a local beer in the bars and you get San Miguel, which is the cheapest available, but still around £3 per glass.
Close to Wan Chai, behind the Central District you will find Lam Kwai Fong, where there is also a great selection of bars and nightclubs. These tend to be a bit more upmarket than those in Wan Chai, and are correspondingly more expensive.
The Star ferry stops operating at around 11 o' clock which means that getting back to your hotel will require a cab if you are staying in Kowloon.
