A night out in Copenhagen usually takes place around the Nyhavn and Boltens Gaard areas of the city, where you will find the majority of the bars and clubs. Usually, the parties tend to start around midnight, and liberal licensing laws tend to mean that they continue into the early hours of the morning, particularly on a Friday and Saturday night.
Often bars change character throughout the evening, with seemingly quiet restaurants changing character into lively bars and then loud nightclubs complete with DJs and light systems as the night progresses, and there are many such places throughout the city including Zoo Bar and the 1970's style Stereo Bar.
Die Hard clubbers will want to head to one of the larger venues such as Rust, and Vega, where big name entertainment sis usually on offer to compliment the inevitable lager fuelled mayhem.
