New Routes For BA From London City Airport

British Airways has just announced new routes for passengers flying from London City Airport, to commence in 2008.

Operating under the flag of CityFlyer, a subsidiary of British Airways, services will commence offering flights to Barcelona, Amsterdam, Nice and Warsaw. The scheduled date for the flights to begin is March 2008 for all but the Warsaw route, which is set to begin in May.

The airline is also increasing the frequency of its flights to Zurich from London City, providing a five flights per day service from March. This will cater for the increasing demand for what is proving a popular destination with business travellers. The fact that London City Airports is in Docklands, with many high profile businesses based there will have had an impact on this decision.
