Flights to Toronto From Bristol Announced

The Summer of 2008 will see the provision of flights to Toronto from Bristol Airport, with a weekly flight taking off every Monday.

The service will begin at the end of May, the time of year when flights to Canada become more popular as the milder weather makes the country a much more popular tourist destination. The service is being provided from Bristol because of the higher than average demand from the area for Toronto flights. It is expected that, once the flights are made officially available, that demand will remain and also that Canadians will take advantage of the route.

Travellers from Canada are statistically one of the biggest spending UK tourist groups so to have them arriving into Bristol Airport and visiting the surrounding areas must be a good thing for the region.
