Emirates Record Profit Figures

In the first half of their financial year Emirates achieved another record performance, doubling their profits compared with the previous years period.

The achievement was made possible by a greater demand for Emirates flights, allowing greater profitability and overall yield per flight. This was against a backdrop of rising fuel prices too, making the achievement even more noteworthy.

The airline has developed the list of destinations they cover very well during this period, adding flights to Toronto, Venice and Sao Paolo amongst others. These will have had a positive impact on the business and it is a reflection of Emirates good management that these destinations were selected and have proved so beneficial to the company.
