The Official Airline of the Rugby World Cup, Emirates, is taking the cup itself, known as the Webb Ellis Cup, on a round the world journey to the different nations that have won the Rugby World Cup, these being Australia, England, New Zealand and South Africa.
The cup has already visited England and New Zealand, with the next stop being Australia then on to South Africa. Nick Farr-Jones, the former Australian captain who led his team to World Cup triumph in 1991, will be arriving with the cup on a flight to Sydney, where thousands of excited fans are expected to be waiting.
The Rugby World Cup 2007 takes place in France, with the very first match commencing on September 7, as hosts France take on Argentina. With lots of great sport and entertainment from day one, the Rugby World Cup final will be held forty-seven games later, on October 20 at St Denis, where the eventual victors will be crowned.
