Lufthansa South American Gateway

As of late October this year Lufthansa will be offering more direct flights to South America, with five flights to Buenos Aires per week from Frankfurt coming onto the schedules.

Buenos Aires is a popular destination since many European organisations also have offices there, meaning there is an obvious demand for good communication links. The vast city, the largest metropolitan area in Argentina and the second largest in South America, has a population in excess of twelve million people, and a very large business area.

The route will see Lufthansa operating the Boeing 747 jumbo on the route, with economy, business class and first class cabins available, all of which are expected to be well booked.
