Alitalia Check In Reminder

Italian flag-bearing carrier Alitalia wish to remind all travellers of the check in limit of forty minutes prior to departure. Anyone arriving later than this will not be allowed to board the plane.

The check in time is being reinforced because the busiest period of travel is now upon us and as such all areas of check in and security will be busier than normal. This means that, to avoid the possibility of delays and issues at the airport the forty minute limit is being strictly enforced.

Alitalia are recommending online check in for travellers though reminding them that they still need to be at the airport in good time. Taking a process away from the airport should help ease the congestion, but there will still be queues at security so it is vital that passengers do not think they can turn up at the last minute.

Alitalia are well known for their inter-European flights, and it is no fun to tell your partner that the flights to Rome you had booked for that romantic weekend away have just been lost because you thought you could waltz in at the last minute.
