A United Airlines Boeing 737 carrying more than a hundred people came within 200 feet of hitting a snow plough on a runway at Denver International Airport this week - the second near miss at the airport in less than a month!
According to an airport spokesman, the snow plough, which was being escorted to the maintenance area of the airport by another vehicle had lost contact with the air traffic control operator, and was not entirely aware of the fact that the jet was on approach.
Visibility was reported to have been good at the airport, although several flights to Denver had faced disruption thanks to snow earlier in the day.
No-one was hurt in the incident, and a full investigation has been launched by the NTSB.
