Emirates named as official Airline for Rugby World Cup

Emirates has become the official Airline of the 2007 Rugby World Cup in France, after agreeing a multi million pound sponsorship deal with the organisers. The deal will ensure the continued prominence of Emirates as one of the leading sponsors of a number of major sporting events and teams.

Emirates, which offers flights to Dubai from London Heathrow, Manchester, and most other UK Airports is also linked to Arsenal FC, the McLaren Formula 1 team, and was a major sponsor of the 2006 FIFA World Cup.

The airline is also title sponsor of the annual Dubai Classic and Dubai Gold Cup events.
