Ban children from Flights says US passenger group

After a 3 year old girl and her parents were thrown off an AirTran plane because of a temper tantrum, an influential US passenger group is to push for an all out ban of children under 5 years.

As many travellers will attest, there are few things more irritating than having to listen to a screeching child for 13 hours on a long haul flight, and short of jumping out of the window. There is nothing you can do to escape the racket.

Passengers are now fighting back and pushing for separate flights for families to protect the sensibilities of everyone else.

A spokesman for US Airways claimed that the rumours that his airline was planning to ban children from all routes apart from flights to Orlando were fanciful.
