Business travel agencies across the UK are threatening to boycott British Airways after the airline threatened to increase surcharges for travellers booking through them.
The increase in charges was attacked by members of the Business Travel Association as high handed and inconsiderate, and cited as yet another example of British Airways trying to squeeze agents out of the market and encourage travellers to book direct.
The new charges, which ally only to specific bookings, would add around GBP20 to the average cost of business class flights to Orlando with British Airways.
