LOCATION: The historic house, originally built by Paul De Castella in 1854, has been sensitively renovated and is now the luxury hotel in the Yarra Valley. Chateau Yering is a one-hour drive from Melbourne.

HOTEL FACILITIES: The property features an elegant restaurant seating 120, a lively cafe catering for 70. Chateau Yering also provides an elegant venue for events and a discreet retreat for small conferences and business meetings. Other facilities include cocktail bar, guest lounges, garden swimming pool, tennis court, beauty salon and board games. In the short time the Hotel has been open it has had the privilege of hosting a number of high profile events, such as, the launch of the new MX-5 and SAAB, and various medical and corporate functions. Chateau Yering is a very special property. The house and the gardens are full of history and the restoration has been extremely sympathetic. GUEST ROOMS AND AMENITIES: River Suites The River Suites each have king size beds, claw foot baths and separate showers, antique furniture - stereo, TV and VCR, balcony or veranda with views of the grounds to the distant hills. CHILD POLICY: One child under the age of 4 years will be accommodated free of charge when sharing a room with parents and utilizing existing bedding (without extra bed and NOT including breakfast). MEAL PLAN: Rates are inclusive of fully cooked breakfast, daily for adults ONLY, breakfast for children is not included as is chargeable by guest direct at the hotel.
