Casablanca is a great city to visit on the Atlantic coast of the country. Aside from the old quarter or Medina, the city has been pretty much re built from scratch by the French, and with the authentic Moorish architecture and wide streets, it is a pleasant and airy city to visit. Close by there are some excellent beaches along the coast.
You can also visit the desert in the East of the country - the area in the south "Western Sahara" is disputed territory and should be avoided. While the Atlas Mountains in the north east are a fantastic scenic area to go rock climbing or mountain biking, or just escape the baking heat of the coastal regions for a while.
