The top attraction in Osaka is the excellent new Universal Studios Japan theme park, where you can try out the latest thrilling roller coasters based on hit films such as Spiderman and Back to the Future, take in a few exciting stunt displays, and get involved in the whole film making process in a studio. Expect large crowds at the weekend, and during school holidays, but during the week, it is reasonably quiet.
