LOCATION: Thala is exclusively located on 2km of spectacular sandy beach surrounded by Coral Sea, secluded coves and 145 acres of unprecedented beauty. The Lodge lies approximately 38km North of Cairns and 16km South Port Douglas.

HOTEL FACILITIES: The main building is built on a rocky ridge on high timber poles, this imaginative building features a restaurant with uninterrupted views that sweep for 140km from the Daintree rainforests to Cape Grafton, South Cairns. Other features include reception, lobby, reading room, bar, lounge and a series of beautiful and unobstructive rock pools will allow guests to swim and gaze out to the Great Barrier Reef at the same time.

GUEST ROOMS AND AMENITIES: Great sensitivity has been applied to the design of the 85 rooms. They are all Deluxe Bungalows, individually built high on timber poles, looking out through the canopy of trees.
