Outside London, Glasgow is the largest shopping centre in the UK, and provides visitors with plenty of choice when it comes to spanking the plastic.
Buchanan Street is the most fashionable area to shop, and the area where you will find a wide variety of big name stores. Sauchiehill Street and Argyll Arcade are close by, and Buchannan Galleries, which joins them, is the oldest covered shopping arcade in the UK.
Shops are open 9am-5.30pm except for Thursday when the stay open until around 8pm.
