Bermuda Currency in Bermuda foreign exchange rates

What is the Currency in Bermuda? Find out what type of money or foreign currency you will need when travelling to Bermuda. Learn about foreign exchange rates, Banking, Currency & Taxes...

The official currency used in Bermuda is the Bermudian Dollar, although you can use US dollars almost everywhere, and credit cards are accepted in most places.

You can exchange money and travellers cheques in banks and hotels, and almost all bank ATMs will accept Visa and Cirrus cards for instant cash withdrawals.

Tipping is expected in The Bahamas, although most restaurants will add a 15% service charge to the bill, in which case no other tip is necessary. Taxi drivers will tend to "keep the change", so avoid paying with large denomination notes.
