There are 3 terminal buildings at Manchester International Airport that are used by many charter and international airlines. The busiest are Terminals 1 and 2, from which most international traffic leaves the airport. The majority of flights from terminal 3 are operated by British Airways on both domestic and International routings.
Manchester Airport offers many good quality shopping opportunities both before and after security, so the chances are, if you’ve forgotten to pack something, you should be able to find it before you fly. Shops at Manchester Airport include Cotton Traders, Times 2 Watches, and World Duty Free, which offers a great selection of perfumes, spirits and cheap cigarettes.
Manchester Airport is 10 miles south of Manchester in Sale. To get there, take Junction 5 off the M56.
